Cake, Cake Baby

This little girl is so sweet - it must be because she absolutely loves cake. I mean she really went for it. She was a blast to take pictures of- very cooperative. She was constantly smiling and just being a baby. Happy Birthday Molly!!

Finally more BOYS!!!

These boys were so much fun to photograph; although, I could rarely get both of them to look at me at the same time-that even required some bribery. It surprised me that being twins one was always doing something opposite of the other one. I had my work cut out for me. I've been working on tactics to get children to look and smile at the camera. Here are some of my favorites.

2 Sisters & a dog

These were taken today. Finally the weather was cooperative. These were taken as a gift for for Mother's Day. I think they turned out great. Who would've thought you would've had to watch out for a dog blinking on camera. He did quite a few times. Here are few with them open- but not aways looking. Anyway, I thought they were pretty darn cute.

Baby "L"

Finally, I got a chance to do newborn photos. I love newborns. They're just so sweet. This little one just refused to do any pictures sleeping. She was awake the whole time. I'm sure she crashed as soon as I was done with her. Otherwise she cooperated beautifully- No crying! Thank you for letting me capture these SWEET moments!

My Sis

Here are some recent pics of my sister and the soon to be newest member of our family-- You guessed it-- another GIRL. We are so excited. I can't wait to meet her. She gonna be great just like my sister. There will be more maternity pictures to come. I just had to take these before the bluebonnets were gone.

The "D" Kiddos

I had so much fun taking pictures of these kids. I could have kept going all day if I had the time. They really hammed it up for me. They gave me so many ideas. I can't wait to do some more shots of them. They were truly a joy. More to come of these kids for Corly's Closet.

Little Miss Busy Body

I think its something with this age group. They prove to be a challenge every time. A ton of fun but definitely a challenge. They never stop moving and you can't miss a beat. This little princess kept me on my feet. I had to stay about 10 steps ahead of her (very hard since by brain has operated on the 1 1/2 year old level in a very long time) Her and her mom are definitley some of the sweetest people I know. I can't wait to watch this family grow (#2 on his way in a couple of short months). I'm sure there will be more to come from this gorgeous family.

Shelbs

My sweet baby sister Shelbs. I can't believe you're about to graduate from high school. Time has flown by. I still picture you as the little 4 year old you were when we moved. You are such a beautiful and amazing person. Don't ever let anyone get you down. I have no doubt you will accomplish all of the goals you set for yourself. I had a great time taking your pictures today. Please know that if you ever need anything you can count on me. I love you sis.

Awesome M

I had such a great time taking pictures of this little guy! He was so busy. I don't think he ever stopped moving. I enjoyed getting to photogrpah in a new environment. I really had so many options. I had so many favorites from this session that I couldn't pick. So here's a little more than a sample of his pics. If you didn't notice a smile from him is rare especially when the camera is on him. It was a lot of effort to get a smile but the second I packed everyting up to head out the door he couldn't give enough of them. What a little stinker.
